Becoming a Board Member
The Down Syndrome Guild of Southeast Michigan (DSG) is dedicated to being the leading organization for resources and information about all things Down syndrome. We provide a wide range of supports and resources to individuals with Down syndrome and their caregivers. We also passionately advocate for increasing their educational and employment opportunities as well as growing community awareness of their unlimited potential. Are you ready to help?
All DSG board member candidates must be nominated by a current member in good standing. To nominate a candidate, please send a letter of recommendation to the Nominating Committee or Executive Director at email@example.com prior to the September board meeting.

Step 2 - Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or (248) 556 - 5341 if you have any questions about board service with the DSG! We'll be happy to have one of our board members answer them.
Step 3 - Complete the Potential Board of Directors Information Form here. You do not have to wait for a formal nomination letter to be received before completing the form. However, you will be asked by which DSG member in good standing you were nominated and for their contact information.
